Maileg is a Danish design brand of contemporary interior lifestyle concepts established in 1999 by Dorthe and Erik Mailil. The Maileg collection has a unique authentic look and touch created by designer Dorthe Mailil.

With a background as an illustrator and graduating from Danmarks Designskole i 1996 and additional courses from Ecole d'art de Marseille in France.

Dorthe's unique style has been widely used as illustrations for both commercials and books. Maileg has been chosen for The Danish Craft Collection three times
